UFO Online: Invasion

UFO Online: Invasion is a free-to-play post-apocalyptic, turn-based tactical combat MMORPG developed by Bad Pixel. Set some time after Earth is attacked by a massive alien vessel in 2024, the game tasks players with handling the aftermath of a global war. The aliens may have been defeated and left, but they also left a mark — in the form of alien life-forms and infrastructure that were abandoned during their retreat. Invasion features “simultaneous turns tactical combat,” which helps speed up the process of the game. Players spend 60 seconds during the Planning Phase to decide their actions and watch everything happen during the Simulation phase. This results in the game being able to handle massive PvP battles with dozens of players involved. Other features the game boats are a large open world filled with hidden treasures, quests, missions and more, a player-driven industry and economy, a skill system featuring more than 100 skills and 11 masteries, conquerable bases, and the ability to create and improve clans. In addition to the free base game, Bad Pixel also offers three pieces of purchasable DLC: a Starter Kit, Mod Kit, and Adrenaline Kit. Prices for all vary with the total of all three being a little under $23.
