Dreadnought is a free-to-play combat flight simulator developed by Yager Development and published by Grey Box. In Dreadnought, players pilot a massive battleship, ranging from the titular Dreadnought to the Tactical Cruiser. All ships are heavily armed with projectile weapons, and each has it’s own variety of advantages and issues. And, all ships are highly customizable — down to the smallest detail. This includes weapons and modules as well as the paint job (hull coatings and decals). Players take on the enemy in 5v5 class-based arena battles. With each ship having advantages and disadvantages, players will want to work together to build the most efficient team possible. Due to the high customization options available in the game, Dreadnought only features 5 actual ships. However, players will be able to outfit them in a variety of ways, resulting in a much wider variety of ships overall. Player matches in Dreadnought are estimated to last between 5 and 15 minutes, making it a great game for people who may not have hours to spend logged in on any given day. On the monetization end, Dreadnought features two kinds of currency: the currency earned in game — called “Fleet Points (FP), and the currency purchased via the game market using real cash — Grey Box Points (GP). Items bought with GP offer bonuses and customization options but will not impact gameplay.
