Valve’s Artifact is two games in one. Whether you’re looking for the original Dota 2 trading card game created with the help of card game designer Richard Garfield or something a little more streamlined, Artifact has both in one download. Artifact Classic is everything the game was originally envisioned to be, bringing the world of Dota 2 into a highly strategic and competitive card game. Artifact Foundry took Classic and reworked is based on player feedback, streamlining the gameplay and adding new content. In Foundry, players are able to see all three lanes of gameplay at once and utelize the mana pool across all of them at the same time. The developers also changed how randomness impacts gameplay in Foundry. The Foundry version of the game offers 100 more cards than what’s available in Classic. It also boasts an extended tutorial, playable demos for each hero, and extra PvE and PvP content. Since both versions of the game are available as a single free-to-play download, players can access all content for free. In Foundry cards are unlocked via gameplay. In Classic, all cards are available to all players.
