Starward Rogue

Such is the case with Starward Rogue, a game that mixes Roguelike elements with the incredible difficulty of old-school arcade shooters to give you a challenge like no other. Oh, and the game is based inside of a star, so there's that too.Inside of this star is a true labyrinth, one that grows and evolves with each victory that you achieve. So each time you take a step forward, the game steps it up to beat you. Through the game you'll find items by the hundreds, as well as hundreds of rooms to make it through. Plus, if you like boss battles, Starward Rogue has that too.Play the way you want, whether it be through keyboard, gamepad, controller, it's your call. Add to that, there are 5 difficulty levels that range from "Relatively Easy" to "Nigh Impossible." So choose the difficulty that you yourself feel comfortable with.Plus, there is a story in Starward Rogue, one that has you looking for an A.I. named Rodney that has gotten lost within the star.
