Superheroes are meant to help save the day. But, what happens when there are too many superheroes, and not enough crime to satisfy them? Well, that makes crime not a passion to stop, but a sport to get to first. Welcome to Speedrunners. For in this over-the-top game you'll be a superhero trying to get to crimes so you can save the day, and your competition? Well, they are in your way. And you'll need to use a variety of rockets, bombs, grappling hooks, spikes, and other goodies lying to make them go away, or slow them down enough so you can get there first. SpeedRunners is a 4 player competitive platformer where speed is only half the equation. You need to use your terrain and weapons and powers to get to crimes first so you can be praised! Second place just won't do. Oh, and if you fall off-screen? You will be eliminated. How will you play the game? That's up to you! Speedrunners is oozing with style and strategy. Will you simply try and stay in front of your foes? Or will you do all that you can to make sure they don't come near you? Plus, when you want to test your own creativity, you can make your own levels! A full blown level editor with over 10k user created levels awaits you outside of the large campaign mode! There has never been another superhero game like this. Will you rise to the challenge? Or fall to sidekick status?
