Salt

Salt is an exploration game with an open world in which you embark on an epic journey where you sail from one island to another while discovering loot, doing quests, trading with merchants, raiding ruins, fighting pirates, and just enjoying the fresh breeze of the sea. The game was developed and published by Lavaboots Studios on February 6th, 2018. Players start things off on a small island, with only the basic resources. Create a raft, and decide where you want to go. Unexplored islands, strange and obscure places, exciting quests, and more awaits. Need a better ship? Just upgrade yours, then take on vicious pirates that are trying to kill you, and meet other interesting characters. Oh, and don't forget to pick up some of the hundreds of rare items that are scattered all over the world. Salt has a main quest and over 50 side quests available, all of them filled with an interesting lore and hidden secrets to uncover. Take your friends with you and sail the vast blue sea, trade items with other players, look for ancient ruins and sinister cultists, and see what kind of items that weird merchant is selling. Dictate your own pace, and either sail calmly or look for more uncharted islands. Once players find gigantic ships, they can decorate them and transform it into their very own home on the water. Thanks to the RPG-style loot system, many items of different rarities can be found, as well as some precious resources. Salt procedurally generates the worlds that you explore, so use an in-game map in order to mark the islands you've already explored!
