Return of the Obra Dinn

Return of the Obra Dinn is a puzzle investigation game made by Lucas Pope, released for Microsoft Windows and macOS on October 18th, 2018. Return of the Obra Dinn is set on a fictional East India Company ghost ship. A terrible tragedy occurred here as all of the crew and passengers died in strange ways, and the entire point of the game is to figure out how each person got killed. Players assume the role of an agent of the shipping company that needs to assess what exactly happened. Players need to use logic and their investigation abilities together with the Memento Mortem watch (which has the ability to return to the moment of a person's death) in order to learn the identity of all the sixty crewmembers. Use logical thinking to find out how someone was killed, what weapon was used to kill them, and so on. The game doesn't give you many clues, you get just enough to give you a small hint which will lead you to your next clue. This investigation game is played from the first-person view and it uses a brilliant 1-bit monochromatic graphical style which invokes unforgettable scenes, unlike anything you've seen in this type of genre. Return to Obra Dinn is a spectacular and vivid investigation game in which information is given scarcely.
