Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Here is the latest installment of the crossover series from CAPCOM where characters from their titles are pit against characters from other universes. In this case, it's the turn of Marvel Comics' heroes and villains to fight against the protagonists of your favorite videogames in tag team battles. This new title from the fighting franchise introduces gameplay and mechanic changes aimed to make the game more accessible. The first thing to note is that MARVEL VS CAPCOM: INFINITE is more focused on storytelling than previous titles, providing a cinematic experience that follows the heroes in their attempt to stop Ultron Sigma to destroy the world.The game also moves away from the previous one in other main aspects, like the number of fighters that take part in the combats, that's been reduced to only two instead of the usual three characters per team. Other than that, combat mechanics have also been changed, with the removal of the assist attacks from off-screen team members and the introduction of a tag system that allows you to swap characters anytime, allowing for endless combos.The introduction of an "auto-combo" system provides a great help for people that are starting with fighting games until they get used to the game controls. MARVEL VS CAPCOM: INFINITE also features a new Infinity Stones system where each player chooses a stone before each match and he can use it during the match to gain a power boost or to create certain powerful effects.
