Are you prepared to avoid Shapes, move to Beats, and die many, many times? Experience a brand new spin on the popular SHMUP genre by implementing co-op play that is actually the core of the game. Bring a friend (up to three) and play together either through local or online play with the Story Mode and Challenge Runs to pick between. Are you a fan of chiptune and EDM music? Then this is the title for you, as it features 35 handcrafted and challenging stages that have licensed tracks which will astonish and amaze. Oh, no friends want to play a musical co-op bullet hell game with you? Not to worry, play some online challenge runs and let the game pick out some strangers to play with you! But, there is also the option of playing by yourself if you don't really like to rely on other people. Just Shapes & Beats has the Story mode which will help you learn the controls and the basics thanks to pretty simple tracks and the Casual mode. But, once you've got the hang of things, the Challenge Runs are there for you to prove your skills by taking on randomly picked tracks. The game even features the Party Mode which allows some awesome music to play if you're hanging out with friends, and they can play these stages whenever they want to while the music blasts away!
