Fade to Silence

Fade to Silence is a survival adventure game set in a frozen post-apocalyptic world that can be played in single-player and in co-op. The game was developed by Black Forest Games and published by THQ Nordic on December 14th, 2017. The Earth is encased in ice and snow, turning it into an unforgiving landscape where Nature is corrupted and Eldritch horrors roam the lands freely. You take on the role of Ash, a leader that is troubled but born to lead others. Explore the lands, find resources necessary for survival, upgrade your equipment, scavenge items, and avoid danger. The low temperatures will constantly bother our hero, and blizzards are something that should be avoided at all costs. Being a lone wolf is suicide, so you need to gather some followers and bring them into the refuge that you've built. The skillsets and character traits of all individuals let you access resources and gear of a higher tier. If you're alone, only the most basic of tools and weapons will be available to you. A merciless winter climate is brought to life in Fade to Silence, as the frozen world gets an extra dose of immersion from the dynamic weather system. Read weather patterns, look for shelter, and follow paths in the snow left by both NPCs and players. This title features a gut-wrenching atmosphere, challenging gameplay, an exploration mode for those that want to experience the story at their own pace, long-term expeditions with wolf sleds, and more!
