The game was developed by Nearga and published by HypeTrain Digital on January 17th, 2019. This version ofthe game can only me activated in Europe. When a mysterious disaster happened on Granichny Island two years ago, no one knew what it was. The New Light conglomerate used everything in their disposal to cover up this strange event. A campaign is taking place on the island where "Volunteers" take weapons in their hands for the first time and enter Granichny. Their objective is to explore the island and look for the paranormal activities that happen there. Obtain useful information, finish all your tasks, and try to get out alive. Vicious monsters, madmen, and supernatural anomalies are all waiting for you. Even the weather patterns are chaotic and dangerous. Military bases, settlements, and secret facilities were all left behind after catastrophy hit. Many secrets can be uncovered by finding all the diaries and notes from the previous inhabitants of this land. Take on soldiers, marauders, and monsters as you make your way through Granichny guns blazing, or take the more silent approach and utilize stealth in order to do critical damage from the shadows. Be a lone wolf and experience the horrors of this place alone, or find strength in numbers and join a 4-player team. Surviving in DESOLATE isn't easy, but you can acquire new abilities and train them. Find recipes and useful components to craft all kinds of weapons and equipment.
