Dead by Daylight - Ash vs Evil Dead DLC introduces a new character to the game and a special item that is exclusive to him. The legendary hero from the cult-classic Ash vs Evil Dead horror series, Ash Williams, entered the chilling realm of the Entity. He doesn't have his chainsaw with him this time, but this guy is a veteran when it comes to dealing with supernatural beings, so escaping the clutches of death won't be hard for a man like him. Even though you can't defeat evil in this game, you can still outmaneuver it and survive as one of the biggest badasses that are tied to horror pop culture. Three new perks come with Ash, which help this man escape the most daring of situations. The first one is the Flip-flop. Ash has a strange ability that lets him convert his recovery progression into wiggle progression when The Killer picks him up. Another one is called Buckle up. This perk lets you unlock the true potential of your aura reading ability as the recovery progress of a Survivor that is dying can be determined by the intensity of their aura, and by healing a Survivor and bringing them from a dying state to a injured one, Ash and the Survivor that he healed get to see The Killer's aura for a short period of time. The last perk of this Survivor is called Mettle of Man. Since Ash is someone that evil can't ignore, this perk activates once you get hit by a Killer's basic attack and the next time that you should be put in the dying state from the injured state is rendered mute, but this means that once you heal back to full health the Killer gets to see your aura.
