In Darksiders Warmastered Edition players assume the role of one of the Horseman of the Apocalypse, War. He stands accused of being the one that started the war between Hell and Heaven, and so he must travel down to Earth to look for the truth and find the one that has set him up. As he stands before the Charred Council, War is dishonored and sentenced to death. As he is sent down to Earth, he can use an array of powerful relics, weapons, and abilities to take on vengeful Angels and despicable Demons from Hell. His quest won't be easy, but in order to find out what actually happened and how he took the blame for it, War needs to forge alliances with demons and traverse the broken lands of Earth as his quest for vengeance continues. In Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition we assume the role of the most powerful Horseman of the Apocalypse, and that is Death. Everyone fears Death, and nothing can escape him as he is awakened by the End of Days. Now, he goes on a quest to save his brother, War, and try to redeem his name. On his journey Death will encounter many ancient foes, find all kinds of weapons and armor, gain experience and unlock various unique abilities, and more. Death is a nimble fighter that is much agiler than War was.
