Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms

Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms is the second new official expansion for the cult classic strategy game, Age of Empires II. The expansion was developed by SkyBox Labs and Forgotten Empires and it was published by Microsoft Studios on November 5th, 2015. Four new Civilizations have been implemented into the game. The Berbers (do whatever it takes to unite the tribes of Northern Africa and embark on a journey to Europe), Malians (be a worthy successor of the great Mansa Musa and strive to become the mightiest king that Western Africa ever had), Ethiopians (see how powerful the Aksumite empire once was and become a ruler of the Red Sea), and Portuguese (begin your journey towards the new world as you find new routes to undiscovered lands and create even more trade routes to the great African empires). Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms features four brand new fully voiced campaigns. In Tariq ibn Ziyad players are tasked with leading a mighty army of Berbers and Arabs against the vicious Visigoths and declaring war to the almighty Merovingian kingdom. In the Sundjata campaign players take the role of the crippled prince of Mali, Sundjata, as he aims to overthrow the strategic King of Sosso, Sumanguru, and become the supreme ruler of West Africa. The Francisco de Almeida campaign follows the expeditions of brave Portuguese explorers that just came back from India, and the next task is establishing an empire that will span over three continents and two enormous oceans. Lastly, the Yodit campaign shows how the stunning exiled princess Yodit was exiled from her country but she still managed to become a ferocious queen that no one could defy.
